workaholic?

Based on wikipedia dictionary, workaholic means “a person who is addicted to work”.

Does it have a negative of positive meaning? Even though workaholic mostly seen as a negative thing, some people use this word to express someone’s career in a positive perspective.

And how we can know that someone is called a workaholic? I try to search in google.
